Naked Kisses

I opened up our semi-empty cabinet today and to my amazement discovered this:

On closer inspection, it appears to be a plate of naked Hersey kisses on top of a bag of raisins.

I'm not sure why they're naked. Perhaps it cuts down on the time required for impulse eating. Perhaps the Kisses were playing a game of "I'll-show-you-mine" and I caught them in the act. Or maybe the sneaky naked Raisins convinced them that they would acclimate to the temperature of the cabinet faster if they joined them in their nakedness. I was hoping to buy some Dove candies from the grocery store later this week but I'm not sure if this is a random act of strangeness or chocolate debauchery.

Another Fave

I think Lady Gaga's newest evening gown is growing on me. First, it's the plainest thing she's ever worn. Second, it looks comfortable. Third, it's a nice color that easily matches her hair. Fourth, its very modest. And finally, its amazing what three table covers can do to hide one's troubled spots- a universal fit!

Umm.... yeah. So Lady.... I hate to break it to you, but I wore this same thing on my wedding night. Big hit, let me tell you!

We got some more snow 2 days ago. About 6 inches this time. It was so beautiful watching it fall on Sunday night. Huge flakes that came straight down with barely a breeze. The weather report said that at one point it was falling at an inch an hour. I believe it. It was so soft and powdery and then some fog rolled in shortly after I took these pictures and made it all crunchy. Boooo! Oh well. They (and I'm not sure exactly who "they" are) said this should be the last of the snow storms for us but last year we had a snow and ice storm on March 30th. I'll be enjoying it while it lasts.
