We've decided to embark upon the adventure of purchasing another car. We have been sharing/carpooling since we moved out to Kansas and with Alex working 20 miles away with no set schedule it has become very difficult to get around economically. I really hate shopping for a car. It's even more difficult when Alex doesn't even really know what kind of car he wants. After spending the morning driving around to a few car lots and spending most of the time at CarMax we decided to grab some lunch and refuel. As we pulled into the gas station, we were suddenly face-to-face with probably one of the most comical advertisements I have seen in a long time (or maybe it was just the combination of the sun, stress, and hunger). I had to take a picture.
Here is a list of destinations the Chihuahua will take you to. Either they're based in Wichita or they are really, really lost. Maybe that's why the dog looks so sad.
For a moment I truly appreciated the genius behind the marketing of the Greyhound bus. I found some more "Before & Now" pictures of our own rapidos chihuahua.

I started painting the kitchen and the dining room. I should be finished with the kitchen by today so I'll post some pictures of the finished project soon.

OMG!!! I laughed so hard at this one! I think the chihuahua is sad because of that HAT! lol
This looks like something you'd see in a comedy movie.
By the way...GET THAT FOOD BOWL ELEVATED or your dog is going to have some future leg (bone growth) problems. I am not kidding. Just put it up so that he doesn't have to bed his legs (especially the hind legs) to get to his bowl.
Our vet in Indiana told us that the dog is growing and so are his bones. We weaken the ligaments and the cartilage and do damage to the bones by making them do the "Bambi on Ice" thing to stretch down and reach their food.
I know you love Davey....just get one of those stands at Petsmart to place is water bowl and his food dish in.

It's already in the budget. We'll be picking one up in 2 days when we go to get a new bag of food. That's another reason why I decided now would be the best time to repaint the walls. That is, before there is a new level of dog slime to wipe off every day. :)
